TATTOOS

A tattoo, is a mark made by inserting pigment into the skin for decorative or other reasons. Tattoos on humans are a type of decorative body modification , while tattoos on animals are most commonly used for identification or branding.Tattoos have interested many teenagers today; see the pictures below for more info.
Tattooing has been practiced worldwide. TheAinu
, the indigenous people of Japan, wore facial tattoos, as do some Maori of New Zealand to this day. Tattooing was widespread among Polynesian peoples and among certain tribal groups in the Philippines, Borneo, Africa, South America, New Zealand, etc. Despite some taboos surrounding tattooing, the art continues to be popular in many parts of the world.

WHY PEOPLE GET TATTOOS

1) A lot of people I've spoken to or heard about get tattoos for or about loved ones. Some get them to remember a loved one who has passed away and some get their sons or daughters names or faces on them as a gesture of love.

2) Many people get tattoos as a sign of devotion to their beliefs, and is very commendable.

3) They are trying to rebel against parents/society.

4) They like the way it feels.

5) their firends have it

6) As a sign for a specfic group of gangs.
