I think you have made a good point on how prison is secure the inmate, however i believe that though there are securities surrounding the place, the inmates are sometimes killed in their cells, are able to take drugs and commit all sort of bad behaviours. The question is how do all these drugs and stuff come from f the prisons are said to be protected. i don't believe that society actually care about inmates anymore since they are seen as the bad people in society, therefore not enough efforts is put to secure them.
